Hi all,

Need to work on the knotters on my 14T. Had a severe needle mis-hap which resulted in broken needles, bent needle arm which are both fixed now. (Baler went out of time and the wedge the comes up in the bale chamber to stop the plunger and shear the bolt was jammed up with a stick, thus wasn't able to rise...bye bye needles!) I also noticed that a tab is broken off on one of the knotters that holds the twine discs in place. I need to get the knotter off and the tab welded back on. How the heck do I get the knotters out?? I know there is a bolt that holds them in place, but how do I slide the main shaft out that they pivot on?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

By the cam (rt side)that trips the knotters there is a pin that goes through the middle of the shaft. Pull it. Keep track of the shims. Shaft comes out on flywheel side.

Ok, I have an operators manual, so I have the instructions on how to time the baler, but it says nothing about disassembly of the knotters. Which manual do I need?
