The rollers on our 30 year old feed mill have been re-done twice already and they are worn out again. We use it 2-3 times every week and spotted a beautiful looking fairly new Gail Mix-all at a dealer 50 miles from here the last time we were in that area.So i called the guy and we made a tentative very reasonable deal on the phone. The deal was he would give us a fair price considering the marketability on some forage boxes we no longer use,a worn out zetor tractor our old massey mixer in need of new rollers and not very much cash and it would be a sweet deal.So i drove the 50 miles with full intentions of hauling the mixer home,,that was untill i got a closer look at it!What a crying shame. You could easily tell that the thing was in like new condition when he got it.He had it in his lot for 2 years or so,but hadn't even cleaned it out when he got it! The rear cover hinge was rusted almost solid, when i did get it open, there was about 6" of old rotten oats in it and 3" of black water. The front was no better and every chain and augger flight was brown and almost seized. There were even signs of where water ran out the bottom for the last 2 years and made a wide rust path across the rear panneling.Needless to say,i ordered new rollers for my 30 year old girl and will be better off.Sorry for the long post, phill

Sorry, too far for me. Wish I were closer, sounds like a decent deal. Thanks, Phil!

Those kind of machines should never be left sitting out in the elements.
