a 8 footer with no lift would not go for much, maybe as cheap as $200 and as high as $400 if you really need it. The 14 footer around here at auctions mya go pretty high at auctions, they are in high demand in my area.

I saw one like it this spring, a really old Dunham, smooth packer wheels in front, sprocket wheels in back. Needed new maple bearings put in, but wheels and teeth were all good. High bidder paid $400. Organic vegetable farmer who didn"t have to go on the road with machinery. Ones like Allan has go for $$$$ around here too, because there is a lot of hay ground seeded around here, and no-till isn"t doing it for people when it comes to hay, too rough. Plow, disk, roller harrow, roller harrow, roller harrow . . . .

RK,

The darned things are really expensive around here.

I had to give $1600 for this old worn out 14 footer with multiple issues.

Story goes that the horsey types use 'em for smoothin' out their areanas. Farmers don't use 'em anymore, I guess.
