Teejet nozzles

I am putting a used acid kit on my baler that uses Teejet nozzles. I tested it last night and the pump would build pressure, but nothing would come out of the nozzles. I took the cap off and looked at the strainer. Everything looked ok. No dirt. I put it back together and it worked fine. Nice spray pattern. I still have to look at the other 3 today since they arent working either. Do you guys have any tips on using these nozzles? I have a filter back at the pump. I just dont know why they would all be clogging up when I cant see anything wrong. Thanks

Are they air induction tips? There should be a main strainer coming out of the tank. I would just say you have some particulates in there. I use T-Jets and even with a tank strainer and filters for each boom and streens for each nozzle I still end up getting plugged some times. Those nozzles come apart you know and you can clean them, pull them apart with your leaterman, and unless you clean those then they will stay plugged.

I dont know if they are air induction. I dont know anything about spray nozzles. I seems like I need a second filter. I have one at the tank but i still am getting junk at the tips. I just put this system together so maybe I jsut need a little time to work all the junk out.

I think that is the case, you said you bought it used so who knows what kind of gunk is stuck to the tank. Get a in-line filter like I have in addition to the other stuff and see if you can get those nozzels apart and clean them, you may have all the stuff clean out of the tank but it may just be in the nozzels now.
