I have a 1207 that needs some cosmetic help. It has a large spot where it has been overtaken with rust. I am planing on some shet meatl repair and new paint. Any thoughts on what gauge sheet metal to use? I need a piece about 6 ft by 1 ft.

Went thru similar plus mech. with my 1219 and 336 baler. First see if there is a salvage yard close by, you may find a nice piece there. Next is the metal salvage yards, they often have some good metals for less than new. I used a mig welder and had good luck. very little distortion. Good luck Bob
