Hello,

I have a deere 323W baler that uses a Deere 115 series engine for power. It's a four cylinder gas that unfortunately is frozen. I'm not having any luck locating parts on the Web. Is this engine simply rare and obsolete or is it perhaps referred to some other way than a "115"?

thanks

Same engine as used on the 40 combine and the 145 and 165 engines from the 45 combines will bolt right in, same block with just the recieving area for the bottom of the sleeves on the deck plate bored larger for the bigger engines, same part number on all the blocks for the 115, 145, and 165 engines. Hope that it is not stuck to bad (How is it stuck? rings from setting? Bearings?) the blocks are very hard to find without being cracked. Best bet is if you can find a working 45 combine with good engine for the engine. Learned this as I was recerching for a 165 block for anouther guy. And I have to machines with the 145 and one with the 165 block.

How do I get something simple like a gasket set for the motor? Does anyone but deere still carry parts?
