Well my alfalfa is still onthe ground. Brown, almost black....

I thought I would rake it off the field,nope it would take 200 passes to clear it iwth a 9 foot rake..... The guy down the road was using a forage chopper on his, merely to chop it fine to not kill the field. Thought I would inquire if it was for rent or him for hire. Nope, it broke.

Well I found a guy how siad he would bale it for the hay. Hopefully he doesn't turn around and go home when he sees it.

Keeping my fingers crossed...

I guess it got wet on you . I`m in s.e. In. and our windows for getting hay up has been short . You sure cant count on a extra day for drying but I sure aint complainig about the rain . The hard part is getting it dry in this humidity .

I hear ya. Good luck turned to bad. Case dealer gave him the wrong bearing to fix his baler. Darned red tractor people.

He has two, belt was out on the second, he is fixing tonight and hopefully will bale it off tomorrow. It looks like crap, brown as can be, doesn't smell too bad though. I'm sure if his cows are hungry they'll eat it....
