I have set up 4 71 flex planters on 36" rows on tool bar and need ideas for inexpensive row markers. Is the hydraulic row marker on either side the only way to go? Anybody have any older row marker assemblies that I could make work. Thanks

I have some old JD rope markers and some other old rope markers for wheat drills. Yeah you used rope and pulleys instead of hyraulics on them. Go to some local machinery auctions and you'll probably find some of the upright markers with center hydraulic setup and chains go for scrap iron price or less as everyone now wants the end mount type with cylinder on marker.

Glen, Can you email pictures? Where in Texas are the markers? Can you replace the pulleys with hydraulics if you wanted ? Thanks Dennis
