Mr.Glen I am tring to tighten the bars on that 858 rake and I can't keep the blame thing for turning in the star wheel. What can I do to hold the shaft to get the nut tight? I think I know why the old man gave me the durn rake, this thing is a pain in the back side.

That stud is suppose to turn inside two small bearings. On one end you see a cap like freeze plug and you pull that off and should be a snap ring to hold stud to bearing but can grab that end then to tighten nut. One of those bearings is hard to find or not available and you can use a 7109 magneto bearing instead. Shoot me a email and can send you some 850 rake parts breakdowns to help. [email protected]
