That's about the way it figures out... I ussually see them go for $250 for a crappy one to right around $500 for a good/decent one. We got 2 at auction a while back for less than 200 for the pair, but one is missing a few boards on the outside (running lengthways) so we can't really use it at the moment, and the stringer on one side broke off on the back on the bottom so we have no way to fasten a back to it. I ended up swiping tha back to put on a different wagon I built for the cost of nails and just a few 2x6's. We had most of the material from 3 other wagons I ripped apart, including an old Rex chopper box that I used the stringers from. As long as I have the running gears at my disposal, I'd rather go through the bearings myself and build a rack on them, so I know how long they'll last instead of buying a wagon at auction that happens to have bad bearings, wags all over the road, and only lasts 3-5 years before it holds it's last load.
The claim is just getting started for the boy's finger, so all we can do is wait it out. I'm pretty sure nothing's going to come of it other than the expenses, as his dad's a pretty easy going guy. No mom in the picture who ussually seem to be the ones to push for legal action... I'll have to post a picture of Zach after the bandages come off in 2 weeks. Donovan from Wisconsin
