We used it this past Friday and got 187 bales on it. She handles it just fine for you nay sayers out there... I'll post a picture of our fleet. Not a single one has boards running lengthways, and some are over 20 years old and possibly even 30 plus.

The new one is on the front, then our other 18'r is hooked tandem to the back, pulled by my 1600.

Don,

Where are you located in Wisconsin...I know some of the boys up North sure are short of rain, and in the south central part of the state we can't hardly keep up with cutting an baling it cause the rain interveral has been so good.

Your stuff looks pretty darn good! The big green machine pulling it looks up to the tast also!

We"re up in Kaukauna, and beleive me I know where Stoughton is and I"ve wrestled a few of your guys down there...

We have been hurting a little but we just got 3/4" last night and we have more in the forecast. I plan to cut the last of the 2nd crop on Sunday and I hope the rain holds off enough to get it dry. Not sure how we"re gonna get it in the barn though, those last 4 loads were a struggle, and at the most I think we can only squeeze 4 more loads in the barn. We"ve been buying hay from a guy and filled in on top of our 1st crop all the way to the peak in 1/2 the mow, but now we don"t have a good way to get hay to the peak in the 1/4 that we put the 2nd/3rd crop in. The other 1/4 is for chopped bedding and we still have quite a bit from last year left.

Our early corn is all tassled out, and the late planting is starting to make progress. I hope the early corn gets a little taller yet cause it"ll be awfully disapointing if it doesn"t...

Holding air is all new tires do on a hay wagon. We use old cotton trailers.

Here's the fleet. It's not easy to see the Yellow one on the far right in back, but that's one we bought probably 10 years ago from Gruett mfg. I built the new one on the right and the orange one. The green one we bought at auction somewhere around 8 years ago, and this spring I put our old Oliver gear underneath because the JD one under it needs work really bad. The Oliver gear sat for atleast 15 years with frozen steering, until this year when I finally torched one side off and made a new tube for it. The other 2 we borrow every year, but we'de like to buy them out-right.

This is our oldest wagon we own. We bought it at auction a while back, it's built out of hardwood. It's actually out lasting the original gear that was under it, now this year I put our old oliver running gear under it and plan to fix the old JD gear that was under it.

Notice the back tire- it's squatting but still holding air, so that's good enough for us!

Looks good. I have some of each also, cross and length. Cant really tell the difference except on really old one does have a bit of a sag on the over-hang. Bob
