different hubs for homemade mobile home trailer?

Are there hubs from a car or pickup that can be used to replace the mobile home hubs? I want to use the common 15 inch tires. I wonder why the 14.5 inch tire and hubs were ever made to begin with.

They are 3500 lb or 5500 lb axles check your local farm store like Tractor supply , Farm & fleet , Etc. should have hubs will be about $80 a pair . Check out ( Link ) Trailer section you might find what you are looking for .

Yes there are differant hubs you can get, but there not from a car or truck as far as I know. They are used on other brands of trailors and do cost a good bit to do the job. If you find a set of old trailor house axles some of them had 5 hole ford type rims or 6 hole chev type rims.
