hey everyone
last weekend i got an 848 baler. it ahd been sitting awhile so i greased and oiled it all up. i thought it was all limbered up so to the field i went. after the first bale the slack in the chain was left in the back of the baler causing it to pinch in the door. a quick investigation found the rods that keep the bags parrallel had bent because after 1/2 bale size they were rusted real bad. so i cut the pipes off and welded in 3/4 inch ones to clean the rust out, and hopefully not catch anywhere. so after another thorough greasing. to the field again. it worked alf better this time as one side bent again. all the sockets are greased very well. am i missing something here? also i checked the bore that the pipes go into, and there arent any burrs or anyhting. i apreciate any input, as this is frustrating. thanks
nate
