I have a New Holland 450 (I think that's the model #).

I've noticed that the main fly-wheel on it is set back a ways from the pully on the sickle bar. to the point it vibrates quite a bit. I've tried brining it forward which seems to help. One other thing about it is that the flywheel pully is not straight with the PTO shaft and it doesn't appear to be adjustable enough to straighten this up.

I'm going to try to post images in here for you to look at.

Also, does anybody on here have a manual for this mower?

Just what are you referring to as the flywheel? The red pulley? The yellow pulley? There is no flywheel on these mowers, but there is a crankshaft that the yellow pulley is fastened to. Steve

I am referring to the red pully connected to the crankshaft. I guess I incorrectly labeled it a flywheel.

It is not straight with the shaft as it is connected to the pto shaft of the tractor.

Maybe the picture attached to this post will explain better. From looking on top, standing behind the mower, the shaft tends to angle to the front left. When brinking the pully forward all the way, it still angles to the left.

I have one of those,I just replaced the bearings in the jack shaft. Those are between the last u-joint yoke and the fly wheel. I can tell you how get it apart easily, also they should be pulled out and repacked every year. I also have a manual, but no scanner,so if you ask for somthing maybe I can help. You may just slip the belt off and check for excessive play. Good luck, James
