I picked up a 2 bottom IH plow the other day and I know nothing about plows and was hoping some of you guys could help me idintify it. All I have is the numbers from the main beams. PO23402A and 23403A. Any info you can give would sure be a big help so maybe I can find a manual for it. Thanks

I bought a two bottom 14 inch trip plow with the following #s PO23408--FRONT BEAM & PO023402A--was told it was a McCormick Deering #4 Wonder plow; I am pretty confident it is a Massey Harris #27. Hope this helps in identification and finding a manual. This forum is great for good information.

Tom

Tom
Mine has the IH logo stamped on the coulters and the coulter brackets. You might see if yours does too

Thanks Hugh
I was wondering how old it was, guess I will never know for sure. It is missing the tail wheel but it does have the scraper mounted back there. I guess I dont really need the wheel, do I?

Jocephus: Yes yout plow is a Little Wonder and model number 4, available in 10", 12" or 14" bottoms. All were 2 bottom plows. Production of this plow commenced in 1940.

Regarding manuals, if anyone can supply them it will be Binder Books. You can find them online. You will find the parts book most useful.
