NH 315 Baler

My manual indicates that there should be a set of striker plates on the main crank arm. My baler doesn't have them (they've been removed or lost). I know these may contact the needle latch. I can't tell from the manual if these are just 3 stacked plates or are rubber cushioned. Could one of you guys out there shed some light on how this assembly is made for me? Thanks in advance��..Bob
