Hi, I"m having a problem with one of the knotters on my New Holland 370 Baler. Basically it will make 4 or 5 bales in a row and then the next one or two will only have one string knotted. It will then make some more good bales and repeat the cycle again. It looks like its tying the knots too short i.e. the ends aren"t look enough and the knot pulls apart.

Does any one have an operators manual for this machine? I"ve tried searching the web.. but no look..

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Get on the phone, and call New Holland Technical publications. For about $25, they will send you a VHS tape that shows the common mis-tie problems (like yours), and the cures. It also shows the knotters working in slow motion, so you can understand them better. Once you get this tape, you will see how simple they really are. By the way, NH has actually made 2 of these tapes, but both of them tell you the same thing.
