OK...forgive me...im SO new at this but...I have a International ( stamped IH NO PLATE) 2 bottom trip plow that I want to fix up to use to plow my gardens. BUT I just learned after seeing another trip plow that Im missing some parts! Im missing the lever assembly ( and ALL the stuff that goes along with it!!) that operates the "tripping" of the REAR trailing wheel and I also see pics of them that have SPRINGS on them. Im at a loss on not only whether I can find/build replacement parts or even completely how this thing operates. ( I warned you guys I was GREEN). Maybe I should just ditch it and get a 3 pt plow. But it just would be neat to use what was used on this land YEARS ago to bring it all back to life.

Any manuals that show basic schematics of how a trip plow works and how the levers operate different functions??

I see that this LEFT lever thats missing must also move the left wheel up and down as well as that rear trailing tire.

Thanks for ANY help. Been scouring pics to try and decifer just what im missing and all that from pics but...a schematic would make life MUCH better. I can take pics of anyone is willing to take a minute or two to see what Im working with. and the area of "MIssing" parts.

sorry for long post !!

I think there are several photos of the little genius plow in the "implement photos" section. You might look through them and see what you can learn. Wouldn't hurt to locate an owners manual for that plow, they are not too hard to find, can just about always find one on eBay. Lots of good photos and info in the manual.

Why do I see people calling them little genius...is that the model of the plow?? I saw on another site you can buy manuals but Im afraid of buying a manual thats not for this plow...since the plate is all gone all I have are part numbers that start PO....with the IH symbol..and if I do I direct search on the web I come up with nothhing....

Are the International Harvester plow call the Little Genius?? Ive seen that reference to IH on hear as I was searching??

Thanks....cuz If I can nail down atleast the ballpark of the plow..I'll be all over looking for a manual.....

There is no serial number plate on a little genius plow. The only numbers you will find are the PO and some numbers stamped into the plow beams.
