Needles bring wire up and leave a loop, it is not cut or twisted (Cutter and twister both miss the wire, the side away from the pickup) We have put new rollers underneath, adjusted the needles, cleaned out cross-tube, changed the wire, oiled the wire, and said all the bad words I know. Can anyone help me???

Thanks for your help! We made the bales lighter and drove a little slower, made it work pretty well. This was the first time we had used this baler since putting a plastic liner in it. Also, we got our old Oliver 720 baler out of the shed and baled over 600 bales without a miss.

Be sure the needle rack pivots are snug so needle rack can't move side ways. The needle when up in tying system should be within 1/8 of inch from twister shaft and just barely clear nose of gripper as gripper shifts from one side to other. The bolts that hold needle will handle this adjustment. Tx Jim

I gave a twine type. The manual does not have just what you described. One says wires not twisted together. Check; foriegn material in twister assembly; needles not adjusted properly; springs frozen in gripper drive tube assy; twister hooks retarded beyond max limits.
If you send me a picture of more description I may be able to help more. Bob
