Help:
I am looking at a Hesston 1340 discbine. I would really apreciate it if someone could let me know if this is an OK machine. Good points. Bad points. Basic information.

The 1340 is probably one of the best 12' center pivot disk mower conditioners on the market. It is the same mower as a Case IH 8312 and they have actually increased in value in the past five years or so. The older models had a regular drawbar hitch but then around '97 I think they offered a 3pt swivel hitch which is better but those models are more expensive.

A few years ago a drawbar swivel hitch was also made available. It works the same as the three point swivel hitch but mounts on the drawbar instead.
