Hello, I have a 701 Loader I am trying to put on a 1959 981 select-o speed and am having trouble hooking up the hydrolics to it. my tractor has a rear quick connect for my 2 bottom flip plow and I tried to us it on Loader lift control by hooking lift side to input and drop side to output. I think the problem might be that there is only 1 hose going into each of the 2 cylinders on loader. any ideas or info on what I need to do would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bari

Are you saying you have a control valve on the loader? If you do, you have to shift both valves to get it to work. Yor remote valve in lift position and the loader valve in lift or down. A single hose to the cylinder means it is single acting(no down force).
You could bypass the loader valve and use the remote. The remote valve should have a screw to allow it to work single acting, if it is a factory valve.

Thanks Joe, I'll try that. And yes I was trying to use both the tractor remote and loader control valve. My hydrolics experience is nill.
Thanks again,
Bari
