There is an IH 2pt hitch model 100 mower coming up at an auction. I have a 560 with fast hitch and need a mower for it. What are the problems with this mower? Is it a pitman style or balanced head mower? Should I beware and stay away from it? What would be the max it should sell for if in very good shape?

I believe the model 100 was a small point fasthitch mower used on the super c through 230's. However, you could make a shim of some kind to make it work on the larger pointed fasthitch I'm sure. Just might not be quite field ready when you get it home to use with your tractor.

Lance, I'd appreciate a couple dimensions from a link plate if you get it. I need to make the plate that bolts to the bottom of the tractor to raise the sickle. Thanks.
