I called the local IH Case dealer for some mower parts and they indicated that they were discontinued. I am specifically looking for parts for the pitman arm on the bearing end. This is a flat plate that connects the bearing to the wood arm. It has four bolts that connect the plate to the bearing housing and four bolts to connect it to the wood arm. THis is for a A22 mover that mounts on the rear of a Super A. They also said that the manuals were no longer available. Anyone know where I might still get these parts?

Try Balsters Implement & Parts, 1-800-621-3838 and ask for Les. These folks have been in business for a long time in Scotch Grove, IA and have an extensive amount of replacement parts for old mowers. They go by original part numbers so have them handy, but they know these machines pretty well anyway. Typically they reverse engineer obsolete parts using an original as a guide and if they don't have any on the shelf they crank out a few more or whatever you need. They're also on the web at www.balsters.net. I rebuilt my late '40's Massey-Harris #6, 7' sickle bar from scratch for a full restoration using their parts and the machine works great. Good luck.
