I ran across a post hole auger that requires that the pto rotate backward to normal.
What tractors had the backwards pto?

The Kubota 6000 had a PTO that ran backwards compared to most everything else.

Belarus..... We had a 520A that would spin backwards, but I think that was only if it was in reverse, and only if it was moving. Basically a ground drive PTO.... Normally, it turned the same direction as all the rest we have in the yard (blue). I don't know of any major NA tractors that had a reverse PTO as it's normal operation. What I do believe had this feature was the grey market Japanese stuff. I think you best look for another auger. This one sounds like an orphan.....
