Well, after trying a few balers in my price range, I think I might be better off fixing my old JD 510. Does anyone know what the belt lentgs should be and how much tension/deflection the belts sould have?

All advice is appreciated.

Jack, before you start the rebuild, go to JD and get Operator Manual and a Parts Manual. These will both be essential for your project. Tom

I wanted to also ask if anyone has a manual for this baler that can be scanned or emailed?
Thanks
