Loren; Yes there few units around and was one in area for 36500 used unit. He got tiresd of fighting it and said they were pretty slow. Baler capacity was more than they handle. I don't now if true or not have not personally used one. I looked into them also but am using accumulator system instead. Works for me and I have lots of versatillity. I am looking into banding bundles this season as I have already been putting bundles on pallets. About same money as large square balers from what i was quated couple years back. Big squares I so far have no market, samll squares is still the way to SELL HAy fo me.

They advertise in my farm paper. I was thinking it was 80K. A guy not far from me bought one. Word I heard was he was renting empty chicken houses, then using a skid loader to load the houses with hay. Selling the hay in the winter. Around here it just isnt worth it. If you use the hay yourself you want big sq or round. Easiest cheapest way to put up hay. If you want to sell it for top dollar you bale small square. Till you pay the guy with the bale bandit you lost your profit margin and might as well have done big bales. Just my 2 cents...

I understand about $50K. You have to make a lot of hay to be able to handel that. Wayne

Gary; Just wondering, is that Alfalfa or what? It sure sounds like you had a good crop, did you take any pictures? I am looking for a North wind today when you pull the cover off the tank. I guess that is Hogs? Have a great day- Bob

HOLY CRIPES! Coming from a manufacturing standpoint I just didn't see that coming. Ooohhee. Guess that's out too. Seems something similar to that could be built for a tenth the cost. I've been thinking of a rig that'll stack 24 or 36 on it's deck and off load directly on a truck or trailer. Maybe I need to get building instead of buying, like i don't have enough to do...
