Would you have any info on what the cost for the HayMaxx disc mower and Vermeer disc mower with five cutting units are. What about shipping to me out here in Reno, Nevada and parts availability for both. Is there anyone I can call and talk to about these units?

I have several other brands available and can have it hauled to ya. New Idea and New Holland units have been good units for our business

Do you also handle the Vermeer mower?

Question - will the drum mowers trip like a sickle bar mower when they hit a woodchuck hole?

Or will they ride over them?

thanks!

Yes, drum mowers and indeed disc mowers do have a "break back" device

How often does it trip/break for you?

Thanks!

It all depends how you set them up, if you hit a big mole hill , (the same as a gopher mound I guess! ) or if you get a little to close to the headland. The adjustment is usually via a spring/locknut arrangement.
