Well I got the last few bales done, ended up with 3 or 4 instead of 1 or 2 as it should have been. Any how when I was shuting it down I figured I'd take a look at the cylinders and cycle them a few time and watch them. I noticed that each time I would close the gate and how the lever it and the cylinders would stay tight but the moment you let loose of the valve the cylinder would loosen up. I then looked at both of them and the cylinder I didn't rebuild had a little oil seapping out the seal where the cylinder rod goes in so I fiugure yep it has also gone out on me. Sure wish the NH dealer had 2 kits when I got the first one, I would have redone both of them if they had. Now I get to drive 80 mile round trip to get another kit. Oh isn't farming fun.

I'd have the dealer ship them, usps or ups, either is cheaper than the gas you'll burn.

Im ight have done that but I also have to pick up a JD-14T baler in the same area so I have to drive up that way any how. Sure would be nice if UPS could ship that baler also but I sort of think they wouldn't want to do that LOL

old,
When I buy parts, I all ways buy 2-3 and put the extras in a pidgeon hole on the wall in the shop. I know I'm going to need them someday. I'm almost to the point of openning my own parts store. Ha Ha. What would I do if I did not farm...
Good Luck..... .

I do that a lot also but when the dealer only has one kit on hand you can't do much about it. What is worse was that the other dealer just down the road didn't have any kits at all.
