I had bought a old Servis Brush Hog a couple years back set up as a trailer unit with two Hyd. activated rear wheels and what seems like 10ft of drive shaft - I have done nothing but work on the drive shaft all along (ok not the best driver) - I now plan to remove the hitch and rear wheel assy. and convert this unit to a three point set up - thoughts or suggestions?? It sounds like a good idea in my mind!!!

I got a three point bush hog from a farmer friend of mine and converted it to a tow behinde and never had any trouble with it I welded two arms to the top of the deck webbing to go to my drawbar one on each side.The unit swings with the tractor so the pto shaft stays stright.My tractor is a Farmall M with no three point . would be eaiser than makeing it a three point. That sounds like another good option, but the rear wheels on this unit do not pivot, thus turning would be a problem. I have lined up a castor wheel assymbly off an old John Deere Combine for my rear castor adn the mount holes are already on this Servis, so should be an easy conversion. Thanks Dennis.
