Anyone know where to get parts to rebuild a wobble box? Mine has too much play, keeps breaking knife heads.

I got the new wobble gear box ordered, expensive. Last night, I got the old one off. Found out one of the bolts that holds it on the frame was broken, bottom right, also the bottom left was not very tight. I know the gear box is worn some, has some vertical play, maybe 1/8th to 1/4th inch. Would this cause the bolt to break or would the broken bolt cause the knife head failures. It would be nice if I didn't have to replace the gear box.

While I have the machine wide open, should I absolutely replace any other parts. Belt? How can you tell if the chain is worn too much? Sprockets?

I rebulit mine 3 years ago, lasted 1 year, I then bought the whole gear box from new holand, It really wasn't that much more money than rebuilding it the first time. The new box included the arm that holds the weights and hooks to the cutter head, you really need to replace this piece too.

Any NH dealer should have or be able to get you the parts. I just did some work on my 460 last week and the dealer had all the parts I neede in stock
