Rebuilt knotters, I threaded new twine and then run a cycle thru, discard scrap piece off the knotter and then I ran a bale thru, one side tied normal and the other side tied both twine from the needle to the knot and wrapped twine around the knotter left twine outside of the needle. Why is it coming out of the needle?

the reasen for that is because the twine is slipping through the disd on the knotter. to correct this you need to put in a new twine finger. or check the twine finger retainer spring to see if it is broken or weak.this twine finger fits down between the twine disc.is held in by a rivet and can be replaced with out disambleing knotter.check tension on twine finger spring can tighten retainer bolt and some times correct this.
