New Holland 271 small square baler

I"m needing parts desperately for my New Holland 271 small square baler. Hopefully I can find good used parts because many of the new ones aren"t available and the ones that are available are out of sight price wise. Basically I"m needing nearly all of the pick up assembly (4 finger pipe weld rods, all 3 pickup disks, the 4 cam roller bearings and all the pickup teeth bolts which is 24 of them). If you have any of these parts or know of someone who might, please let me know. I need these as soon as possible. Thanks

I've got a pretty good ready-to-bale NH 271 baler for sale in s.w. Pa. Where are you located? This one was always shedded; got put in back of shed when kicker baler arrived & even moreso when round baler came. $1200.

Sounds like you are looking fdor a $150 beater baler for parts. Look around locally, a common baler, same as the 270, wonder if a lot of other models have same pickup parts as well.

What went through the baler - or tried to - to rip the pickup apart? :)

Nothing that I know of went through it. It pretty much quit picking up hay and I took the guards off to take a look. Basically, the female parts on the three disks got wallered out and the pipes that went through them were worn in two or almost worn in two. I may end up taking the 3 disks to a good welder or machine shop to try to redo them and remake the four other rods that hold the roller bearing. The parts store wanted over $130 for each disk and only one was available and wanted almost $90 each for the other 4 rods.

Here's the deal...parts are expensive.

Not trying to be smart butt but that is the deal.

Yes, I found that out pretty clearly when I called the dealership. That's why I posted my request on here. The dealership isn't the only place to get parts and sometimes one doesn't necessarily need new parts when good used ones will do. I'm hoping I can find some good used ones that will do fine for me. I've got a feeling that somewhere out there, somebody has one of these machines that's being used for parts and possibly/hopefully they might have the ones I need at a better price.
