I`ve got a NH front mount deck commercal mower and it has hard plastic gauge wheels and anti scalp rollers , they are costly and dont last long at all ,, was wandering if there is a place that sells them like the bearing houses instead of going to the dealer , if I`m getting a low quality wheel I`d like a low dollar !!

The plastic gauge wheels on our mower would wear out the center hole. I just drilled out the wheels, and put a bronze bushing in them. Once a year I give them a shot of Lubiplate grease, and have never had another problem.

As i remember.. either lowes or Home depot has a 'bin' of generic wheels and rollers intheir lawn/garden section..

Not certain if I am qualified to speak on this
mower, but most of those decks don't intend for
the rollers to be on the ground rolling all the
time-just anti scalp.

Dont have them on the ground all the time . It rides on air tires in the front and hangs on arms in the back , It`s set up as the manual says . I`ll go see what Lowe`s has got , Thanks for the tip .

I agree with Chuck those wheels are only there to ride over a high spot.

They should be off of the ground under normal mowing conditions. The tractor should carry the mower deck until theres a hump and then those wheels keep it from scalping.
