Fast Hitch Sickle Bar

I mounted a fast hitch sickle bar on my Farmall 200 and I have a couple of questions. 1. There is a rod that goes to the left side rockshaft. What is it supposed to do? It looks like it should pick up the end of the sickle bar, but it doesn't. 2. What position should the "draft adjustment tube on the right side be in? 3. There is a long bolt with a bracket on it that is attached to the right hand fast hitch spear. Where does the other end attach and what is it for? thanks in advance doorman. Also any pictures or drawings would be very helpful.

If I read your post correctly, the long rod on the left side of the mower goes to the left rockshaft (mid tractor rockshaft). Hook it up to the outside shaft. On the right side the bracket attaches to a axel clamp, which you need before you do anything else. As far as lifting the mower blade, there is either a single or a double spring at the rear left of the mower. There is an adjusting nut on the spring. Tighten the spring for more lift, loosen for less. Good luck. BobG in VA
