Does anyone know of a tool that can be made or bought to hill up the soil to plant field grown flowers in raised rows? This is a new venture for us. Understand some have made something using harrow discs on some kind of custom fabricated frame. Or, could a disc harrow be set up to do that kind of job? Any advice welcomed. Thanks Chuck

There is a machine called a Ferguson Tillrovator that tills and forms the tilled soil into several narrow raised rows or one large raised bed. It attaches to a tractor's 3-point hitch and PTO. I think the machine comes in different widths for various HP tractors.

I don't know who all makes them I've only heard them called hiller or levy plows. They are made from one section of disc and can be adjusted to make as high and wide a hill as you need. They work very well in prepared soil. I made mine from the front section of and old set of 3 point lift 6' disc. If you decide to make your own use a set that had angle adustments and it will work to just use the front gang from a tandem disc you will be able to set the hill size.

I fergot to say if you make your own to turn the blades around where they pull the dirt up towards the center.
