Question about frogs ?

Finaly dried up enough to work up 8 acres for organic soy beans. Started plowing Memorial day, and the grass was still wet enough that I kept seeing little green Lepord frogs. These frogs make good fish bait, I hated to disturbe them. Im way north in New York state, if I were any farther north Id have free health insurance. Anybody else still this wet?

Was up at the lake this weekend and went out in the creek to do a little fishing.
Used nightcrawlers and took home about 25 real nice sunnies - punkinseeds and bluegills. Ran out of worms so we switched over to frogs on a weedless hook and brought in 6 largemouth bass all between 2-3 lbs. We were only out there about 2 hrs. Action was so fast that Brother Greg and I only had time to drink one beer each out of the 6 pack we brought. We went for years and hardly ever even saw a Leopard frog. Now they're making a come back and there's plenty. I sure hate to run em over with the mower though.

They really are excellent bait, while I was working my 8 yr old grand son caught a 22 inch channel cat in my pond. The grandson told his father " Gee this must be heaven " close enough for me.

We can't afford anything that is "free". We took
a city tour in Montreal last fall. The tour director showed us how the steps between floors
of the homes are on the outside to save sq.ft.for
tax purposes. So many people I talk to abuse the
system. We all need to pay a small percentage to
ensure we don't go needlessly(older people we know
go the Dr.because they are lonesome)Should be no
policies w/o co pay. We are all trying to live
forever on earth-multi page article in Mpls Star
3 years ago spent 3 million on husband. Said itwas
worth it if he lived one more day!!! Lots of Abuse

In Canada you WAIT a LONG time for an operation. Grass is not necessarily greener on the other side of the fence. I also live in NNY (St Lawrence County)

You got that right! Our income taxes up here are a LOT higher than yours are, to pay for that "free" health care that, like was said, entails LOOOOO NNGG waits most of the time (and the cost of every consumer item sold is higher to pay for having metric units and *&(%&^$$%#^ FRENCH labelling on every item sold in Canada, when only a very small percentage of the population even speak it, never mind be able to read it). And, our tax system allows for VERY few deductions. For example, no such thing as deductions for mortgage interest and such.

Lots of Canadians cross the border and pay for their medical needs in the US rather than face the wait times here.
