Hello everyone,

I am going to look at a 10 wheel Enrossi hay rake this morning. I have heard of these before, but never seen one. Does anyone on hear use one or know any good or bad points about them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and have a good day.

Tell me which type you looking at. I assemble all different types of them in my shop. Doing two New HOlland units right now. If you are talking about the Enrossi 9 wheel inline with the three wheels,NO NO.have year old unit out and you don't want it. the two wheels are way better. tell me what exac model you looking at. The nice units are not cheap thou. Don't get the buttery fly style fold either if you have very heavy hay. let me know

Rick,

It is a fold in them midle type with 5 wheels on each side. I went ahead and bought it. It was in pretty good shape. Someone had added some extra support brackets to the arms. It had new tires, new hydraulic hoses and decent paint. It is missing about six teeth all the way around. I go the rake and four extra wheels off of salvaged rake (bearings, teeth, and all) for $1500.00 delivered. I used it yesterday afternoon and I see what you mean about not doing so good in heavy hay. It balled up a couple of times in some wheat I was raking. I went about 400 yards and the whold right side of the rake fell off the frame due to the Ubolts being loose that holds the bracket on. Once that was fixed she did fine. Thanks for the input guys.

Don't know anything about Enrossi but most ,if not all wheel rakes are made in Italy .Maybe they were invented there .Even major mfg.wheel. rakes are imported from there.
