Hi Leroy , I don't have much experience with a lot of different equipment . Some have - that's obvious . You are one that I believe has that experience . I don't want to ruffle any feathers but sometimes I think I can be tactless . I have two 14t's , a 990 Int. moco , a Oliver 415 sickle , 207 rake and 565 plow and a couple of disk's which I visit the salvage yard on a regular basis for parts for . I ask stupid questions . Sometimes I give bad advice - out of ignorance - but it's all for trying to help . I decided to stay indoors today and recoop after this last haymaking session :-) . I've had a problem with my right shoulder and neck for months now and think it's a dislocation in my shoulder . I think that is what was causing my cramps in my back last week . I had a dislocated shoulder a few years ago that my bone cruncher discovered as I was leaving his office . He noticed that my right shoulder was lower than the left and got curious so had me come back into the office . He reset it and darn near made me pass out when he did . But it started to feel better almost immediately . Maybe as soon as I can afford it I should go and see him again . But right now I have other things I want to do with my money . I got the fertilizer down thursday , now all I need is some rain to wash it in . And some more seed to fill in the thin areas . I think I'm going to frost seed it next spring , I want to get 3 - 4 ton an acre from it . I still need a good horse manure spreader too . Any suggestions ? Tomorrow I am going to start taking the plunger out of the baler to put in those stainless slides I had built and to sharpen the knives again and hopefully get it so that it cut's the bale clean . Right now the plunger can't be adjusted tight enough in the knife area to cut a clean bale and still slide easy to the front . And I'm not sure I sharpened the knives correctly last year . I didn't shim out the knives either last time so that may be part of the problem . It makes great bales but they are ragged on the cut side is all . Need to start on the second baler also because it's bale chamber is actually in better shape than the one I'm using which was bought as a part's baler . The one I'm using is better in some way's because it has slip clutches on the auger and the pickup drives but the problem is the chamber bottom is bent/broken right at the start of the twine grooves which causes it to make bales to tight even with the tensioners backed out and no resistors in the chamber . And I've also been taking some part's off the good baler . Nothing major but a couple of strippers and the slides to use as a pattern for the shop that built them . I really should get out there TODAY and do something ! Take care ... Randy
