Hi, does anyone know the value of a John Deere 490 planter with the following characteristics:

1. Purchased new
2. Always shedded
3. Last used in 1995 but still in good working order

So many variables. What year? Pole toung or A frame toung? Fertilizer? If fertilizer in row or side placement disk? Disc or shoe openers? Clutcl lift or hydrolic lift? Down pressure springs? Rubber tire or steel wheel? and if rubber tire spoke or disc wheels? Covering knives? Pea attachment? Gauge shoe attachment? Check wire? and last but equaly important if location. If the clutch lift version and in amish areas worth a lot more than in non Amish area and all others with 8 row planters and up. All questions that need an answer before can give an estimate.
