Hello, I just purchased a 1941 Ford 9N and would like to put a bucket loader on it. Any ideas what used loaders will fit and where to get one? I am located in CT. Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't put a loader on any of the older Fords without power steering. We've had a few of them like that, and I can tell you from experience that they steer very hard and that it wears the front ends right out. A later model 600 or 800 hundred series with power steering, or something along the lines of an IH 300 or Oliver 55 with power steering handles a loader much better. And you can handle it much better, too.

Hit the 9-2-8n forum preferably, or event he ford forum. There are quite a few people with N and loaders.. lots of dearborn units.. etc.

Be advised.. a N and a loader are not a perfect deal.. but they work 'ok' and are better than a shovel and wheel barrow!

Some use a front mount pump and spool set.. some use hyd pump tap on the hyd pump test port.. lots of choices.. sa or da/sa operation depending on what you choose..
