Glad to hear you may hae found some of the problems. Alot of times a knotter will work on a hand cycle and give fits when under power. You can still use the hand cycle to find the problem you just need to move it through the knot portion of the cycle real slow and watch closely. Now you say one set of bill hooks is timed 10 Degrees ahead of the other. Are you talking about the bill hook rotation or the driver gear rotation? Are they ahead of each other at rest? If they are off at rest is one loose? Any one of these is probably your problem but two are somewhat more complicated than the other. The easiest would be if one is loose. Just adjust the drive gear shaft to take up the slack. If they are tight and one is ahead at rest you have a bill hook shaft that is twisted. Might be best to look into replacing them both. If they are in the same position at rest and one starts turning before the other, Hang on, you need to replace the drive gear shaft because it is twisted. I know the second two options were not what you probably wanted to hear but thems the facts. As to your threading issue I can"t help much except to say that the most logical path is probably the right answer. HTH jt
