I was wondering if anyone knows how much the
4 bottom plow weights. There is one at a auction this week. I am interested but wondering what I will need to haul it home..

How far away? I pulled my 4-18s home about 40 miles. Back roads and on the side. Slow and flagged.

I have a 6-18 Model 720, but the operator manual does not list the weight in the spec section, or anywhere else. It was a 5 bottom when I hauled it home, tandem axle trailer, MH wheels. I would guess a 4 bottom is well under 4000 lbs. (250 bu gravity box and gear is about 2200).

Mine a very big Deutz farm loader _barely_ lifted to put on my 16" car trailer. The trailer did fine.
