OT a little-1755 pto bearing

Hi All ! I posted this on the Oliver site also but just as many Oliver owners are here too . I went out to take off the moco and put on the rake and found the pto bearing had broken . I need aftermarket # for the pto stub shaft bearing ASAP Please . I have hay down and a broken bearing and no other tractor to run the baler . Well , I could use the M but I'm pretty sure it would self destruct before I was done . It's untested and leaks from the front tranny seals so bad that I decided to not use it to rake with either . Not this go-round anyway . But if I have too... That'd be a learning curve - baling without a independent pto ! How funny would that be for all you veteran pre-independent pto baler types ? But you wouldn't laugh now would you :) ? Hay got soaked last night , I didn't even go check the rain gauge . At least there weren't any puddles on the ground . It's been high winds and partly sunny since around noon . I went out and turned over some of the heaviest swaths and it was dripping wet underneith . Times like this I wish I had a tedder . I'm going to rake tomorrow morning . The wind was so strong today that the top was bone dry when I checked it but it's flat on the ground and the wind can't get under it . I considered raking lightly today but decided to let the tops dry some more . I still looked good though . I'll just have to wait and see how it turns out . Well , thanks for any help on the bearing issue ! Take care ...Randy

I f I can find it I had an extra bearing and shaft out of 1755 have 1000 pto shaft in in thou beelieve. If you hay is wet on bottom rake it up soon as possible just tto turn it up. You can do it with any rake just ned to learn wher to drive with it. tedders are not my choice,tried one last season not for me.

If you can get the old one off and get a number off it, that's all you need. Good luck finding a bearing before Tuesday, hope you've got clear weather to bale it later on.

We had a clear 4 day window up till Monday night. Guess what-- It's raining!!! Not sure how we're gonna get that hay off anytime soon now, I start my new job on Tuesday...
