Did IH (or anyone else) ever make a snow-blower for a Cub Lo-Boy? I use the Cub to plow my driveway, but if we get more than about 4 in. its too deep for the Cub to move. Plowing is the only thing I use the Cub for, and the only reason I can justify keeping it, as I live on a half-lot in the suburbs north of Chicago.

If I remember right, cubs don't have an indipendant PTO (Constant running-reguardless of clutching) Using a snowblower without a constant pto will be hard because you won't be able back into the snow slowly enough for the blower to handle it, and if you overload it, you'll have to shift out of gear, let the blower clean out, shift back in gear,...., it keeps repeating

When I was a kid, I used to plow all the neighborhood driveways with a cub here in MA. All you need is more weight. Get some front and rear wheel weights and get your tires loaded. Wheels weights by themselves are not enough. If you are still short on traction put some weight on the drawbar. Chains work well if you don't mind scratching up your hottop.
Make sure both brakes work well so you can steer.
Be sure the four bolts that hold the front of the tractor to the block are tight

I do use chains, they don't seem to bother the black-top much, and anyway, I reseal it each May.
How do I tell if my tires are already loaded?
If they are not, how do I load them?
