watched a nice one go for $1400 last yr. at the consignment sale . Most everything is spring seeded around here to {S.E. IN. } with the Van Brunts and you can buy a load of them for $1400 .

I have one that I paid $1500 for about 15 years ago. Have seen them advertised for the same price. The biggest problem with mine is the gear that turns the small seed box. This gear is located in the ctr. of the 2 small seed boxes and will get stuck after sitting a while. Put a wrench on the square shaft and work back and forth until it frees.

Can't give you a value but they are called a Sure Stand Seeder. Some have transport wheels but they never cought on here in Ohio, could be that when they came out most hay; red clover, timithy, a small amount of alfalfa; all seeding was either done in a standing wheat crop or with oats for grain in spring, never any bare land seeding.
