Helping clean up an old farm. Found a small square baler, name says HayBiner. Who made it and is there any market for the old baler before the crusher gets it?
Thank you.

There is a data plate on it someplace around the flywheel eithor on the front of the machine or on the side just behind the flywheel. I'd get the info off of that or take a picture of it and post it. We'd be able to give you a better idea of what it is then.

Jason, send me your e-mail address and I will send you a photo of the New Holland baler. Got it out of the weeds.

The baler is a New Holland 271. It has been stored outside for years with no TLC. Will try and get it out of the weeds for a digital picture tomorrow. Jason, you were right as to where the ID tag was located.

The baler is near Salina KS. I will stomp through the weeds to see if I can learn more about the baler. It has not been moved or used for years.

Maybe it says "Hayliner"? New Holland had hayliner on some of its older balers, but I'm not sure which models. NH made good balers, so if there are people in your area using older small balers it likely has some value.
