IH quoted me a price of $70 on the hyd. pump oil filter. It runs 20w-20 oil in it. I asked if he could cross reference to fleet guard and he said they didn"t show anything. The other thing is this filter was painted over and I don"t know the number on it. Does anyone have any info on this?
Thank"s

I don't know where the CaseIh filters are sourced, but the NH branded filters are sourced from FleetGuard. I would not be one bit surprised if the IH branded filters were also sourced from FleetGuard, since they all go through the same warehosues. You might have more success talking to a FleetGuard dealer, and give them the CIH number rather than asking the CIH dealer for the FleetGuard number..... However, in my experience the FG filter is more expensive than the NH branded filter. Only difference was the paint... my dealer was selling both, as some people simply had to have the FG name....
Beyond that, 70 bucks is a lot of money, but it doesn't surprise me. A lot of big filters today are in the 50-80 buck range.... Good luck.

Call WIX Filters @ 1-800-949-6698, and ask them. I don't know if they will help, or not, but, what the heck, it's a free call.

Did you think to write down the CNH part number the parts guy came up with for the new filter?

Just for the heck of it, I checked on a filter for a Deere 1600 MOCO, it's part # AT120444, @ about $23.00. That one crosses to a WIX # 51724.

I'll bet your's will be very similar to that one!
