Hello I have some questions about the worth of a NH 315 baler. My father bought it brand new in the late 70's or early 80's I not really sure which but anyway this baler is in EXCELLENT condition to say the least. I know for a fact that it has had less than 9 to 10 thousand bales through it total!!!!! It has never sat out side a day since we owned it. The only down fall to this baler is that it is not a kicker baler. It has the toungue to tow a wagon and a foldable shute the goes right to the wagon but you must be on the wagon to take off and stack. My father passed away about a year ago and my mother would like to sell it but we have no idea what it is worth or more so where to try to sell it. This unit still has all the orginal tires and all. It looks just like brand new!!!! Any help or intersted people pleas help me and my mom out with this. Thanks in advance for all your help,
Rob D. from NY

Rob, of course these are excellent balers and your may bring top dollar.
Find the web site for New Holland NA and look under "used equipment", look under balers and put in the model number. If you want you can confine the search to NY state and see what they are selling for. Remember that when listed on the internet they may ask a little more than is realistic. Good luck.....

Rob,
I am in West Central Ohio and ran across a deal on a NH 315 that was being traded in, gave the NH dealer $2000 for it. He also ran it through the shop for that, with new plunger arm and feeder rolls, greased, oiled and timed. It was shedded all its life as I went to the dairy farm before they traded it in and looked at it. The paint is almost perfect. I did some searching on machinefinder.com and fastline.com and a NH 315 can sell for $1500 to $6000 depending on shape and with or without kicker.
