I was wondering if anyone might know where I can get a "shoe" for my 1219. The part number from the parts manual is AE29341. It is that plate that skids along the ground behind the cutting area. There should be two of them, but I only have one. Thanks in advance for your time.

It is very hard to find a good one, they are the first thing to wear out.

Thanks. I will probably go tomorrow and order one from the JD dealer nearby. I wasn"t sure they"d be available.

There is a "center gauge shoe" that runs under and behind the cutter bar most of the was across. Used in rocky conditions. That is installed over the gauge shoes on each end. You might find them at a salvage yard, but you can save time and frustration just ordering one from the JD dealer. Good machine, I bought one last year. Next best would be to get a hydro swing for way more money. Bob
