I have a Complete (almost) L59 and a Farmall 130. It was a functional unit, until the previous ownser snapped a bracket and broke the belt. I have "downtube" bracket, and pulleys. However the plates the the mower attaches to, off of the tube have been broken off. Someone welded 1/4" plates, and one has snapped off. I want to fabricate a replacement, however I don't have a belt. I'm planning on purchasing a belt this week, and wondered what the tension should be. Also I need ideas for fabricating the rear mounting brackets. I figured I'd get a belt first, tyo help with alignment. Also, is there a tension adjustment on this setup?

Chad: I built mounting hardware for mounting 59 mower on my Super A. My mower had come from a BN and mounts were quite different. I'd have to check, but I think I have a decent photo on file that would give you some ideas. The main item with these is be able to get proper belt adjustment and alignment. Send me an e mail and I'll return photos if you like.
